Expectation to be available 24/7 (not in an "on call" position). Was hired as 100% remove, got "absorbed" in one of the many takeovers and ended up having to drive to an office two hours away. I now spend five unpaid hours commuting, doing the same work I have done remotely for years. Working through lunch is EXPECTED...there is even a mandatory meeting at lunch time (no food provided, we're just expected to be there instead of going on our unpaid lunch break). Expected to work before and after actual paid working hours. Also work in a new office filled with racist staff, including an Exec level person who uses slurs openly in the office. Use of racist slurs is common among all the staff at this office and condoned by the leadership. It's embarrassing and uncomfortable as my own ethnicity was slurred last week during a conversation with the boss.
