Pros
Niche technology that is hard to work with at many other employers. Some of the remaining staff are great to work with, but with layoffs and resignations, that list is shrinking fast.
Cons
Technology is so niche that there is very limited demand for it, but costs to maintain infrastructure to support the business vastly exceeds revenue. There were multiple rounds of layoffs while I was there, and it was not unusual to receive calls from irate vendors who had not been paid.
