Pros
- Employees are still getting paid even though the company is in very lean times. - Outside of managers the engineering group is full of good people.
Cons
If you were to describe Oceanworks in one word it would be: Archaic. Archaic owners, archaic technology, archaic processes, archaic management style. The upper management are a bunch of elephants, they need a few tigers to try and fix all of the issues this company has which are just compounding one on top of the other. Oceanworks is a purely project based company, they don't have any products and as such they have very little work all of the time........but you better make sure you're bookable to a project. Compensation is fairly good, even though you'll be stuck for real work to do. They will get rid of you though if there is a shortfall in money, and don't expect them to invest in your future. This place is a sinking ship (pun intended).

Services a wide variety of clients and provides a good opportunity to design and participate in end product testing and maintenance
Cons
Quite management heavy with a vague company direction and process heavy. Company does not invest in its employees and poor mentoring initiatives.
