Lacking Basic Needs - Associate Omni Hotels Employee Review

Pros

Having the associate rate to stay at other Omni properties, plus the friends & family discount is nice.

Cons

Not having any PTO (during your first year) to go enjoy your perks...or go to the Doctor. Or take a sick day (at least in my state, Omni did not provide any sick days to the associates) Just because the state does not mandate paid sick days doesn't mean Omni shouldn't provide these basic needs. Omni's pay structure is also significantly lower than any other company I have worked for in my career. To not provide paid time off for your first year of employment is archaic and greedy...how do they expect to attract and retain top talent?

Pros

What I like most about Omni is how organized it is in all aspects

Cons

The bad thing is that I have to walk a lot from the parking lot to the punch machine 😂

Pros

The culture and hospitality I have experienced so far has been nothing short of exceptional. From the Interviewing to my first day and beyond, everyone has been very helpful and inviting. I am excited to be apart of the OMNI family.

Cons

No cons specifically but once in my department I was hoping for a bit more structure and information as to specific duties, trainings and expectations but other than that I have had a great experience and since have more information.
