Pros

Very open hiring policies As much training time as you need Flexibility to move between departments (helpful if you're entry level tech support looking to move into other roles) Understanding in terms of sick leave, sabbaticals and time off.

Cons

Decision making is very top heavy Extremely low retention rate for upper management. Confusing company direction with a lot of U-turns. Lack of trust leads to a lot of micromanagement, which turns experienced employees away. Depending on location, salary may not be competitive.

We are delighted to receive your positive feedback in relation to our hiring policies, flexibility and internal opportunities for training and development. It’s unfortunate that you experienced anything contrary to our ethos of being employee centric, during your time in our Customer Success department. The recent transition of senior management in the Customer Success team has resulted in various challenges for the department. In order to address them we are currently making significant investments in both people and systems to improve our employees' experience and the service we give to our customers. When making strategic decisions about the future direction of our business, our senior leadership team takes into account many factors, including employee feedback. However, once a decision is made, we expect everyone to support it regardless if they agree with it or not. Despite our best efforts, we do get some things wrong, and when we do we look to learn from our experiences quickly and not shy away from making the necessary adjustments that we need to. Pros

OnceHub is fully remote and profitable without VC funding. This allows for a great work/life balance for those who thrive on working from home . In addition, because OnceHub "marches to the beat of their own drum" it is clear from the outset that the founders are fully in charge of where they intend to take the company. The leadership in this company is very strong and they are clearly looking for smart people who can help them achieve their vision. Every person I have interacted with so far has been incredibly welcoming and generous while also demonstrating that they are extremely competent in their roles. Every interaction demonstrates that OnceHub's core values of humility, inclusivity and creating a meaningful journey for employees is built into their DNA. As other reviewers have pointed out, everyone in the company truly has a voice. The company creates a climate where you can learn from your mistakes as well as your successes, which is such an important aspect of career development.

Cons

A very fast paced environment which may be a con for some but to me this is just what is needed to keep me excited and engaged!
