Pros

-Amazing coworkers - 401k - Free Membership

Cons

- Low pay - Ask for volunteering and framing it as a stretch role so not to pay you more - Doing 5 jobs at one at all times - no work life balance -Expecting us to solve billing cases for patients it's not typical of the role elsewhere. Also your pay doesn't reflect this added responsibility. - High levels of stress turnover and burnout - Disparity in people of color and other underrepresented groups in leadership positions - Training is severely inadequate to prepare you for the role - Has a feedback culture that focuses only on the positive and ignores the negative. -Tone deaf experiments from upper management that push the staff harder to compensate for their mismanagement of the company - if you take on a new role expect to get triple the work for a small increase in pay. I.e $2 more to your hourly rate. - The company likes to ask for a lot of data but either does nothing with the information or uses it counterproductively - Favortism. A colleague who was harassing me at work was promoted to manager despite 2 managers knowing about it

Pros

Benefits are really good, free One Medical membership, can see any provider outside your office for free. Colleagues at your office are bound to be really nice.

Cons

Absolutely a culture of "passing the buck"- a question of relative simplicity may have to go through three levels of management before you get an answer (if you get an answer). Corporate keeps changing their mind on what your actual duties are. The pendulum will swing really far in one direction, and you'll have to scramble to meet those expectations, and then six months later it will swing wildly in the other direction and things you were told are "mandatory" are now met with "why on Earth are you doing that?" Zero communication between corporate and field team admin- corporate keeps giving new random standard work practices that make no sense and then getting mad when field teams say as much. Company "does not believe in merit-based raises for admin."
