Pros

Online Computers is a great place to work if you're just starting out in an office IT environment. Staff is very down to earth and approachable if you have a question/concern or if you just want to learn something. There are multiple sections to the team so you can really learn a bit of everything. Very diverse clientele, so you learn everything from working IT in a Medical field to working IT in a school system. Company is willing to pay for training and certifications, and any resource you would possibly need for said certification or training. I was never asked to drop everything I'm doing on my personal time to talk about an issue/repair. CEO is very adamant about being with your family on holidays and not working (unless the issue is VERY serious).

Cons

Often times we would sign new clients and wouldn't hear about it until an email is sent out stating we are supporting them while receiving little to zero information on what we support. Compensation is petty lacking and very few raises are given out. Will often be short staffed for long periods of time after team members quit or let go. Reaching out to other techs for help resolving issues can often lead to hours of no communication.

Pros

Great work environment. A company that really cares about its people, its clients, and growing the business. The atmosphere is super encouraging and friendly. Management is very understanding and friendly. The kind of place for a career not just a job

Cons

I really don’t have anything bad to say.

Pros

You learn a little bit of everything. Decent starter job but definitely not a career place

Cons

* Terrible communication. New clients would be signed without any discussion to technical staff. Then management would yell at us for not helping them (even though we had no knowledge of them paying for our services) * Terrible pay. Only time I received a raise was for completing IT certifications. Unless you try to quit, then magically all the money Carl didn't have for raises all of a sudden was there. * Held a morale meeting once. Instead of addressing the issues, Carl said "If you don't like it, I'll give you $3,500 if you want to quit and I'll file the paperwork so you'd be able to collect unemployment." One person took that offer. * Ungrateful client base. Some clients really didn't care for Carl in the slightest. Sometimes that meant the client taking their frustrations out on you.
