Pros
If an employee’s capacity to thrive and do good work is predicated on a stable set of expectations and supportive culture, there is no way a current employee can contribute much. Nice salary and benefits are a fragile veneer.
Cons
OSF’s management is broken. Its current president led a disastrous multi-year “transformation” that bled talent and institutional knowledge. In its stead - as inevitable as it was - OSF has not enacted a leaner structure that understands what it’s doing and why. Staff are lost. The mission suffers. It’s a shell of what it once was, fat and all.
