Pros
Being in a small-mid size software company, there are some roles that cross over many different areas of the business. I personally am never siloed into doing just one task on a day-to-day. My manager is very open to my ideas, he gives me the ability to work on my own without interference as long as I get my tasks done and review with him. If I have any issues he is very open to talk to about it. On this subject, Openlink's CEO is also very approachable (if he has time). He was an employee for about 20 years before being promoted to CEO recently. Great benefits and depending on your role, there is an ability to work from home when needed. The organization is very accommodating like that. There are opportunities for upward mobility as well as horizontal if you want to explore other functions within the company. The office environment is great with a brand new 2 floors in the Uniondale Office, they try to make the office a happy and fun place to work, and coworkers are generally friendly and nice.
Cons
Not all teams interact fully with each other, there are still some siloed functions.
