Pros

The team was skilled, knowledgeable, and extremely talented in their crafts.

Cons

The owner was a manager not a leader. She demotivated and underutilized the team, often asserting her superiority in knowledge, skill, and experience, effectively dampening creativity--a paradox at a creative-based marketing agency.

Pros

As a new designer, I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my career than OrangeRoc. All the team members have created an environment that has allowed me to learn and grow as an individual designer as well as a team player in such a short amount of time. Everyone is supportive, creative, dedicated, passionate, and honest about the work they do. I've never seen a team work so well together and with such incredible work ethic. I'm so happy and thankful to be part of the team and I can't wait to see what's next for OrangeRoc!

Cons

Not really a con, but you must be able to multi-task and embrace the fast-paced work environment, workload can change in a moments notice.

Pros

-Team camaraderie: we all stuck together like prisoners in an internment camp; where everyone supported and celebrated whoever could break free and get out of that dictatorship. -Lunch break: if you could manage to have one when the owner wasn't hunting you down and wondering why you were gone for more than 15 minutes -Raises and Incentives: we will never ever forget the owner's generosity. Whenever a raise was given, vacation was approved or gifts were presented, the owner would remind you on a daily basis that you cost her company $$$ and that you need to earn it back.

Cons

Constantly throws team under the bus in front of clients yet takes all the credit for their work. Manipulative and lies to clients and her own staff. Over promises at the detriment of employees having to work late hours or on weekends, but ends up not even sending the files (that you slaved over) to the clients on time. Private employee and personal information openly shared with other employees including company finances and individual salaries. Employees are told on multiple occasions that they are responsible for the company losing business. Reminds everyone that she has 22 years of experience that trumps anyone else's opinions.
