Good Company - Customer Support Orr Safety Employee Review

The company is very kind to their employees, the management was always helpful and there was a tech support line for when I ran into any issues with my computer. The pay was decent as well. There was room for moving up in the company too.

The office I worked in was a smaller office and unfortunately, I was laid off in 2017 when the economy crashed.

ORR Safety does care about it's employees and customers. What I really like about our company is that we are focused on SAFETY and not safety + selling the kitchen sink! Many of our customer service associates have been here over 10+ years and our account managers average 15+ years in Safety. Our CSR Manager is passionate about leading a great team and has developed a training program to quickly ramp up new hires.... which has come in handy since the CS staffing has doubled in the last year. ORR, as a company, has great benefits including tuition reimbursement. As a 20+ year veteran of the company, my manager was very encouraging when I pursued my masters degree. I have had several promotions in my years with the company. The best part of our job is knowing that what we do makes a difference. Our customers partner with us because they know we want to sell them the right products for the application and not just make a sale. Technology is changing at a rapid pace and IT and marketing have also tripled in the last few years.

When you first start, it can be overwhelming as ORR has over 600 different manufacturers in our supplier data base. We still have that "family" vibe, but we don't get the chance to get to know the new people unless we run into them in the hallway!
