Pros
You have to read what is written here with context as there are two types of people who work at Overtime. The first is people who believe in the mission of Overtime and want to build something bigger. They work there usually for 5 - 7 years or more. The founder and former CEO was mission driven, relentless and created something for people to believe in. I don't see a lot of those voices here. The second group is just "people who want to work in sports." They aren't at OT for the mission. They just want to work in sports and as such usually quit, don't like the long hours or hard work. That's a lot of the feedback here that's anti company and management. And yeah, it's not a place for everyone, it's not a lightweight job or punch the clock job by design. So no doubt those peeps didn't like it. It's a unique and at times very special place. But you have to believe. If you just want to work in sports, it's not for you.
Cons
It is a lot of work. It is high expectations. Everyone is up front about that. But if you want to take on the biggest companies in the world that's what you need. If you just want to work for the biggest companies and this is your path - it's not a great fit.
