It seems like every time we’re doing well, there’s a layoff. The company culture really suffered during Covid - mixed messages from management and HR lead to some people feeling enabled to work from home, while others were frustrated at not being allowed to work from home. Employees took it to heart too when the CEO said we were unproductive during lockdown, when most were online earlier and stayed working later than they normally would. Huge disconnect between management and what employees are thinking. Bonus took a hit this past year too, in favor of some company ownership. It’s been “death by a thousand cuts” for a few years now and we haven’t turned a corner yet.
