Pros
Working at Package.ai has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The culture here is the perfect mix of fast-paced and supportive! You're encouraged to take ownership, think creatively, and get your hands ''dirty'' across different areas of the business. In a few years, I’ve grown more than I thought possible, learned an insane amount, and had the chance to be involved in things I never would’ve touched at a big corporation.
The team is what makes it special. Regardless of department or location, everyone is genuinely helpful and wants you to succeed. I’ve received unbelievable support from colleagues across the company from day one. It's a place where you feel safe to ask questions, challenge ideas, and just be yourself. We all joke that calling a company “family” sounds tacky and ridiculous, but for me, it does feel that way.
My role came with a lot of travel opportunities, for conferences and visiting clients, and those experiences genuinely enriched my life, professionally and personally. Remote is actually remote and actually flexible; no one cares where you are physically, as long as you’re delivering (and sending pictures :). Time off is handled with the same level of trust; it's liberal, and as long as we coordinate with each other, it's never an issue. When you perform, you’re rewarded — no ceilings, no fine print.
Leadership also deserves a shoutout. They work across time zones to be present and available for teams in the U.S., Israel, and Europe. It’s not performative; they show up, roll up their sleeves, listen, help. That kind of commitment is rare, and it sets the tone for the rest of the company.
Cons
It’s a startup, which means things move fast and not everything is perfectly buttoned up. We’re still actively building many of our processes, which can feel messy at times, but if you’re energized by creating structure and being part of the solution, you’ll thrive here.
Because our team is distributed (Tel Aviv, NYC/NJ, Miami, Charlotte, Belgrade), we don’t have the chance to see each other in an office or spend time together regularly. That said, when we do travel and get together, it’s always genuinely special and a reminder of how strong the bonds are even across distances.
