Pros
I've worked at PCD for years. It's a fast paced environment with challenging and interesting projects being done for large global brands, which can be quite rewarding. The company is respected as a collaborative partner by our clients rather than a bunch of order takers. There's expertise here that makes a real difference in providing intelligent solutions that keep clients coming back for years. Employees are frequently given opportunity to learn new skills, whether in UX/GUI design, programming, or various types of management. This equates to substantial career development opportunities. The culture is a no-nonsense, get the work done, and be efficient in the process work environment. The owner puts a lot of thought and effort into constantly improving processes and following best practices, which filters down to every level of the organization. Work load is steady and there's little-to-no idle time or boredom. That said, work/life balance is valued and overtime -- although occasionally required -- is not taken for granted. The company is small so every team member is key to success. If you're good at being accountable and taking ownership of your role/tasks you can excel here. If not it will be a challenging environment for you.
Cons
As with all agencies this is a deadline driven business, so it includes the typical pressures that come along with what that means.
