      Pros

      Good place to get your foot in the door with plastics. Hard to get fired. Low quality of work expectation.

      Cons

      Extremely high turnover rate. Sometimes you will get to work with experienced folks that care about the work, and other times you will work with idiots who actively sabotage equipment. Obviously this effects the quality of work. Most equipment is half broke down because the company does not want to pay to have it repaired properly. High demand for quality work with low pay and bad benefits.

      Sometimes when people call in or don't show up for work you have to run additional machines.

      The pay was good. Benefits were decent.

      Cons

      In my time as a process technician at Permian all I did was set molds. The management style appears to be choas. Management's promises mean nothing, that is an observation of watching them promise positions and advancement to other employees and never deliver.
