Pros

Absolutely none. I wouldn't want my worst enemy to work here.

Cons

I was hired on the basis of having a bachelor's and master's in law as a paralegal. The first red flag was that 7 other people started on the same days as I did for the same position - paralegal. After an hour in the office, we all found out it was a glorified call center. At the time, the COVID outbreak was still very much alive and the UK had the highest case rates. We were forced to go to the office and half of the office ended up getting COVID. The team leaders that were overseeing the client care team (Harry and Guy) expected us to work while we had COVID, which for me personally was unacceptable and impossible as my symptoms were quite harsh. No sympathy or compassion at all, all they care about is getting money while hiding behind ''good cause cases''. There were a couple of employees who were promoted 3 times within a year, mostly male. It's a know fact around the office that if you want to progress you need to kiss assess to get there. No legal knowledge was required. I did not study for 5 years law to be answering phone calls. Also, some of the ''paralegals'' had majored in science, architecture, or IT. I think that says it all. This place was quite a scam. They should not be hiring people with legal education and background for such roles. The only reason they are doing it is to they can bill it to their clients and make more money, which is quite pathetic. The financial remuneration is quite low for a paralegal in London, but is decent for call center operators - at the need of the day, that's what you are doing. For me, personally, it didn't make sense to stay a job that pays £24,000 per annum after paying 5 years of law school, while knowing unless I am a man and very friendly with management, I won't be able to progress. If you want a good job, good working environment, benefits, and peace of mind, I wouldn't recommend working here. They don't even pay any sick days and the private medical insurance they advertise in their job descriptions is granted to you after 6 months. They do not only scam their clients, but also their employees. And please, whoever responds to this review from PGMBM, spare us your lengthy paragraphs where you are going to say that you do not understand where is this coming from and act all surprised. You can see many similarities in the reviews. And no, the internal surveys do not count, because people like that hated this job, didn't even stay there for more than 3 months. The results you get are probably from the ''friendly employees'' that get promoted every 4 months.
