Pros

CEO is actually quite sharp and competent You can get away with doing very little, if that's what's important to you. Gotta admit that it's better than a legacy prime. Seems like a great place for low performing project/program managers Generous benefits for certain people

Cons

Mind boggling amount of VPs, yet very little leadership transferred to engineering level No equity for ICs, despite claiming "we're working on it" for several years. Doesn't seem to be much opportunity for advancement if you're actually doing engineering work. Benefits aren't great unless you somehow got a sweetheart deal. Overall pretty poor prospects for competent engineers. Better off investing the time elsewhere unless you just want to coast.

Pros

- Pay is higher than all the DoD contractors in the region. - Work-life balance is fantastic. - Opportunities to work enterprise-level software all the way down to bare metal software. - 1st company that I've worked for that genuinely puts the war fighter customer's needs above all else.

Cons

- There seems to be an equal number of VPs and pee-ons. - Org charts change often. - Raises have been lowest I've seen (could have to do with starting salary being so high). - Not really a place to move up the ladder if that is your thing. - Lacks real systems engineering requirements and analysis processes. - Too few contracts/programs (eggs all in one basket).
