Pros
I really enjoy working at Paddle over the past year. It's a flexible employer, so I'm able to work from home and book off the time I need without being confined to only x amount of vacation days per year. The quality at Paddle is high, and it's part of a growing market, which gives me confidence about job security. I am encouraged to work with autonomy, and feel that I have a leader that really understands the impact we can make. The people at Paddle are also great - I work with a team of intelligent and motivated people who always keep energy levels high. We also met the wider company for an offsite in Portugal this year, and that was a very-well thought out week that allowed us to meet with our colleagues from across the globe. Paddle reviews salaries and equity grants each year in line with the market and performance, so I feel that our input is recognised. Additionally, the People Team have been working with managers on creating career frameworks so promotion opportunities and the route to get there are clearly communicated.
Cons
The pace at Paddle is fast so it may not be for you if you aren't keen on high workloads and juggling different priorities.
