Pros
Some amazing characters both staff and customers. Flexible with college hours. Easy money for a betting assistant as it is a relatively easy job to do after a few weeks training. Always treated well and respected by fellow staff members. Always extra hours available if needed.
Cons
Little progression within the shops. Very unprofessional district coordinators in regards to giving you your rosters( short notice or not telling you your hours )/ spreading staff members private business to other staff members. Staff morale is very low and as a young person working there it is not a good atmosphere to be in when staff are constantly negative about the company, this attitude gets very draining to be around. Job is not very challenging for retail betting assistants at all. Working with just one person all the time becomes very mundane. Rarely ever come in contact with district manager so it makes you less inclined to perform to best of your ability as you feel you are just a number to the company.
