Pros

- Compensation and benefits are decent - The product is meaningful

Cons

- Product decisions are made solely by the CEO without any backed up data or user research - Managers are clueless about people management. They do not know how to foster personal growth for their reports - Performance review is mostly based subjective impressions. No proper structure, no 360 degree review - Some of the coworkers are obnoxious and could harrass you verbally/physically but they could get away with it if they are liked by the managers - You could get fired just because your manager does not like you

Pros

I’ve worked in sales long enough to know when a company is forcing enthusiasm versus when people actually love what they’re building. Padlet is the second one. I put this on my LinkedIn profile: “Making school more enjoyable for students and easier for teachers. The kind of job that doesn't feel like work. I wish the universe had connected me sooner.” The sales team is sharp, low ego, fast-moving, and refreshingly normal. Customers genuinely like the product and trust the people selling it, which means conversations feel more human and less like theater.

Cons

Working here may permanently reduce your tolerance for bloated companies, fake urgency, and meetings that should have been a Slack message. Also, because people genuinely love the product, newer salespeople may develop unrealistic expectations about how pleasant selling software can be.

Pros

Great workplace culture and morale. The company feels small enough that your voice is always heard and valued, but big enough that your ideas and opinions are acted on and followed through with. They emphasize both employee and customer satisfaction, and that is felt when interacting with any employee at Padlet, or meeting with Padlet customers. The product itself is second to none, and they are always making enhancements with the user in mind.

Cons

The company is always looking to improve it's processes, so you need to be able to adapt to changes fairly quickly
