Not worth it - it was the unhappiest I'd been in a while. Leaving was so freeing - Anonymous employee Paraform Employee Review

Pros

The included gym membership is pretty cool, and it's right next to the office

Cons

* Expect to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and during PTO. It felt like even if I worked 24 hrs a day it wouldn't have been enough for some of the leadership team. * You'll operate in a sea of half finished projects and ideas because to leadership if it doesn't work overnight, that apparently means try something else. * Culture felt as if everyone was just waiting to vest and leave. * Felt like if you disagreed with leadership, your work life would become more difficult. * Low compensation for the amount of time you're expected to work. * There was a weird moment where they asked everyone to post on LinkedIn and said something like "we will check to see if you posted". Felt forced and I think that's happening with these Glassdoor reviews too.

Pros

- Incredible PMF and business opportunity - pace of growth and quality of product is WONDERFUL. - $500 coffee/transportation stipend per month - Free lunch/dinner - Founders are not giant sticks, quite down to earth - Eng/Product is fairly stable for Series B, significantly less chaos than similar Series A or Seed startups - Lots of autonomy, lots of opportunity, lots of room for scope and growth - Youthful yet measured energy; not a tech bro culture.

Cons

- Long hours is the norm (but not out of fear, but out of motivation to keep pace and thrive) - Sometimes lack of structure or short/mid-term planning; retrospective process is not mature. - Current healthcare plan lacks choice

Pros

- Great people. The team is super strong with a ton of highly intelligent people who are also fun to be around - The business opportunity is huge. The core product actually works and the mission is very easy to rally around. It feels like most people here genuinely believe in what we're doing - Super high ownership environment. You can often take on new projects and initiatives with little red tape - A good amount of mobility within the company. I've seen a number of people pivot roles/get promoted over time - Good benefits (free breakfast, lunch, dinner) and solid pay

Cons

- A lot is expected of you. Probably not the place for you if you're looking for a chill startup experience with a ton of structure - The hours can be on the longer side. That being said, it does seem like the culture around that is changing and people are starting to prioritize some more balance, especially as our team grows.
