Pros
Some really talented salespeople. Blake, the sales director, is terrific. If you're halfway decent at sales, you'll be at the top of their leaderboard in a week.
Cons
Oh, where to begin...
1) Micromanagement to the extreme. They track every second you're there.
2) The office is filthy.
3) The product is utterly mediocre. There is not a single attorney in the building, which is in Los Angeles. The "attorney" is apparently located in San Diego---which is obviously a ruse. Attorneys don't actually work on anything. According to one employee, they just have outsourced reps in the Philippines challenge everything on the clients' credit reports. The senior reps are just salespeople who took an 8 hour class.
4) Even if you're doing well, the money isn't that great. You'll 30 hours a week with no benefits, time off, or 401k and get $1000/week as a "top performer".
5) Terrible morale and work environment. After they changed the pay plan for the umpteenth time, half of their people left. The staff is evenly split between smart people who have other projects going on...and druggie ex-cons.
6) With a couple of exceptions, the senior management are trust fund babies whose parents invested in the company. They haven't actually succeeded in sales or marketing, but they still give pep talks and formulate strategy as if they do.
