We have evidence to believe this review was left by a candidate in the hiring process, not a former Peak team member. In any case, we thank you for leaving a review. Peak has a significant number of customers and continues to attract new global business across the retail, manufacturing and consumer goods sectors. Like most technology startups, Peak is a venture capital-backed business. We last raised funding in late 2021 in our Series C round, which was led by SoftBank. VC investment is required by most early-stage businesses to become profitable and scale operations. It is often used to enhance product development and hire (and remunerate) employees at all levels. It is good business and financial practice to carefully consider how capital is spent and this is especially apparent in the tech sector given the economic downturn of 2022. It is Peak’s aim to scale sustainably, rather than with a growth at all costs mindset. Over the past three months, we have hired nine new employees into our Revenue organization, which comprises our sales and marketing teams. Our 2024 operating plan includes further investment, such as for marketing spend and additional new hires. With regards to our product, Peak’s AI platform contains a library of AI applications. Each application is around 80% “out-of-the-box” and 20% customizable, meaning that applications can be quickly deployed with a customer’s unique data set. You are correct in saying that applications can be further customized, or even built from scratch, depending on a customer’s requirements. Peak’s AI platform is used by industry leaders including Molson Coors, Marshalls and Eurocell. Many of our customers can be referenced during the sales process and anyone can view our case studies on our website. There are circumstances where our customers would prefer not to be named as they consider their work with Peak commercially sensitive. When this is the case, we respect our customer’s wishes and anonymize their case studies. This does not detract, however, from the success stories and success metrics of brands that we can share with prospects during the sales process. We have never received any comments, complaints or evidence to suggest any form of “spy operations” on members of the Peak team or anyone in the hiring process. We have a number of open and anonymous feedback channels, including our anonymous surveys, whistleblowing tool, Manager one-to-ones, or a member of our People team, where team members can raise their concerns.
