Horrible cut throat company. Don't believe the reviews. - Administrative Pearce Services Employee Review

Pros

High pay for the industry to attract potential candidates. Lot of use of phone based technology. Very smart top management, nothing they do is accidental or not planned out. Management is aggressively trying to win new business in a very competitive market. Benefits if you are single aren't bad. If you make friends with the upper management they will let you get away with anything including not showing up to work.

Cons

The glowing reviews of Pearce on glassdoor are seeded by their corporate recruiter and upper management, don't believe them. There is ZERO work life balance and you will be a corporate slave, you are expected to be on call 24/7 and to show up to work at anytime without notice. You are still expected to answer your phone on sick days, vacation, holidays FMLA, or any other personal days. You can work from home but you will be looked down upon and management doesn't actually believe you are working. A 12 hour day is the norm and you better come in on the weekends to make up for not working 14 hour days. Hourly technicians with company vehicles are expected to lie on their time-sheets so they don't incur double-time or dept or trans issues The management encourages skating around dept of trans, environmental and workers laws to make the company more money. Pearce is trying to gain huge market shares by under bidding everything and than expecting it's employees to figure out how to make jobs profitable. Zero training, you will get thrown out into the field on your first day and than thrown under the bus when you mess up for not knowing. Ask a question and you will get chastised for not knowing the answer, don't ask a question and you will get ridiculed for not asking questions. You will have to report to 2-3 manager who will under mine each other and run you in different directions and than blame you for messing up. This place is everyone for themselves.

Pros

Great company with significant travel, well-suited for individuals already accustomed to being on the road. The organization provides extensive training, with a strong emphasis on safety procedures and best practices. The role involves a high level of independent work while still being supported by great coworkers who value teamwork and consistently support one another.

Cons

Since CBRE acquired Pearce Services, there have been significant changes that have negatively impacted the organization. These issues do not appear to stem from CBRE itself, but rather from Pearce Services’ management. When the acquisition was discussed in November 2025, employees were informed that no major changes would occur under CBRE; however, many internal processes and management practices were altered afterward. Several managers from Pearce Services implemented changes seemingly to present themselves favorably to the parent company, often without regard for employee well-being. As a result, some employees are classified as full-time but are consistently scheduled for part-time hours, creating instability and dissatisfaction within the workforce. Employees are being told that these actions are the result of guidance and expectations from CBRE’s higher-level leadership.
