Pros

Our trainer was great, engaging and fun but the training itself felt overwhelming. Then we had to jump straight into performing. You learn on the job with the right team lead. It really is an OK position to do if you love CX or need a source of income. Benefits are decent although I don't how it's legal to enroll someone into a nicotine surcharge by default unless they subject themselves to a test. The pay is not great especially in this economy.

Cons

I hated the open performance platform where you see how everyone is meeting their targets and they see yours. Some folks in leadership bragged about the competition it creates but I find that toxic especially to new staff, and folks with little experience in CX. I was also one of the few bilingual guides so there was even less flexible in the schedule I could have compared to other staff, and this had me having to work on Saturdays fro 11 to 8pm every week, horrible schedule. Daily hours were also 11-8 with little rooms to get earlier shifts. This is literally in the middle of the morning and night, worst schedule ever. The pressure leads put on you to be almost perfect on the phone or you get a 1 on 1 to talk about every mistake was also weird and softwares were always slow and there were too many of them to manage while on one call. Finally the 30 mins lunch break after a gruesome day and 10 mins breaks (giving you enough room to use the rr or stretch) are just not healthy.

Thank you for your positive comments about our training team and for taking the time to post a review. We do know that for some people the content and processes they are trained on can appear daunting and we openly encourage any new starters (whether in training or production) to ask for additional support – We love it when our colleagues ask for help. In our centers we do have a variety of shift patterns and although it is not always possible for our team members to be allocated their preferred shifts straight away, for some of our team the variety of shift patterns can provide an excellent balance with other aspects of their lives. Targets for productivity and a performance driven environment is not for everyone, but our experienced leaders are there to help and support to ensure that we are available for our customers and providing the best possible service, something that this team does so well!! Thanks again for your feedback and good luck in your next role.

Pros

Flexible remote work environment with supportive supervisors and helpful team members. The training was well organized and provided the tools needed to assist customers effectively. It was a good opportunity to improve communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills while working with a diverse customer base.

Cons

Some days had high call volumes, which could be stressful during peak periods. Performance metrics were closely monitored, and certain customer issues required coordination with multiple departments, which could sometimes delay resolutions.
