Pros

Working from home policy

Cons

I'm torn between saying nothing to let Perficient get away with these fake reviews that they've posted below recently (ironic how there are at least 18 5 star reviews that all happened to be submitted on May 30) to boost up their Glassdoor rating, and wanting to warn others about what you're actually getting yourself into when you work for this company. Leadership, take a hard look at what makes the Big 4/8 consulting firms successful - i guarantee you it is not crunched timelines for EVERYTHING, zero value for work/life balance, milking your employees like they are cogs in a machine, terrible maternity/paternity leave policies, crappy health insurance benefits, virtually no training opportunities, I could go on.

Thank you for your feedback. Perficient strives to foster an environment in which employees can express these types of concerns. To that end, employees are always encouraged to communicate directly with members of their leadership team or with Human Resources at any time. Perficient also recently deployed its annual employee engagement survey company-wide. We hope you were able to participate; this survey provides an opportunity for all employees to share their feedback and perspectives anonymously, which helps us to make positive changes where needed and to celebrate our achievements.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
