Pros

None in the last year

Cons

Perficient continues to be in trouble. Many good people are no longer there. The new CEO promoted all of the VPs to SVPs for no reason at all beyond paying them more and bigger titles. The work environment is extremely toxic. If you have an opinion or experience that differs from leadership you have no chance at growing your career there. The business has been in trouble for some time and the executive team blames everyone below them. The new CEO makes every single decision and the team just carries out his decisions telling their teams that everything is coming from the top. The executive teams have all been around for 10+ years with many of them much longer than that which is a clue that they don't promote people with fresh ideas or perspective. Middle management/Directors operate with the mindset of “this is just the way it is,” because they know that they cannot make any positive change. They will push you out if you try and influence positive change for the people. The Perficient people promise is smoke and mirrors. They are not an organization that cares about people. The only thing they care about is their brand, how many followers on their social channels, and will forsake every single person to hit their revenue numbers. The comp is way below industry standards. The marketing and sales leadership are gaslighting experts.

Pros

Very little outside of some of the people you work with. FTO is only nice if you have a manager who lets you use it. They did allow work from home, not sure if that is still the case.

Cons

This company was run poorly by Tom Hogan before private equity bought it but the buyout accelerated their decline. If you want to be a cog in the machine, this is the place for you. The leadership is only focused on themselves. They will praise you or throw you under the bus depending on how they feel it makes them look to their bosses. The employees who don’t have a stable long term project live in fear of being let go irregardless of talent and many of their most talented are leaving because they see the writing on the wall.
