Pros

Good work colleagues, opportunity to make friends

Cons

There is no proper training, you are expected to perform and make no mistakes without proper training. Not down to the grooming staff, as they are too busy to even train. Dogs are booked in too small of time frames, people are rushing to get their dog finished before the next one walks in the door. On the opposite end, dogs cancel and when all the cleaning is finished you are penalised for not being busy enough. Management does not help in situations where staff is being abused by customers and will stand by an watch while it happens. Dogs are not cared for properly, as staff are rushing for time and stressed trying to get Dogs done in time for the company and then are blamed for this. Standards may slip here and there during busy and packed days due to the stress of getting Dogs done in time, and then staff is blamed. No matter how many Dogs you do well, or how good you do it will not be good enough for this company. You will be let go for minor reason, don't be sick or have an injury as they will let you go especially when under probation. You as an employee do not matter to this company. They only care about money at the end of the day.

Pros

Coworkers were okay, they allowed my noise cancellation earbuds that I hid (I have a severe disability) but only for a month or so, the worker discount is alright.

Cons

No training given prior, managers breathe down your neck rather than actually work on the floor with you, no leaning or sitting, for 8 hours of work you only get a 30 minute break WHICH IS ILLEGAL, you’re expected to know and do everything beforehand (again, no training), you must always be doing something even though the place gets very slow and empty at times, you will be watched via cameras, you must greet and help every customer (if you miss one you will be reprimanded), ALWAYS let the managers do what they want otherwise they get mad, and all this with minimum pay
