Pros
Friendly stores Good HR Employees more than just a number for the most part Upper management mostly supportive when speaking face to face
Cons
Grossly underpaid for the workload expected of managers in this company Head office try to placate managers with "bonus scheme" when told that managers are underpaid "Bonus scheme" depends on whether managers and their teams are able to beat entirely unachievable goals Expected to work well beyond your contracted hours and are guilt tripped by head office if you don't Constantly contacted on days off even though you're told to make sure you take time to reset Set unreasonably short time frames for major events which require changes to rotas; head office meetings, store visits etc etc. Then give you no choice but to attend said meetings even if it means cancelling important plans/events Zero training provided for management positions Expected to do weeks of hard labour at the drop of a hat to execute head office's rebranding plans without adequate direction Upper management show zero support unless speaking face to face, leaving you with impossible work loads and then putting pressure on you if you fall behind schedule
