Pros

- Great coworkers - Interesting work even if there’s a lot of it right now. - Flexible with time off

Cons

Senior leadership aren’t transparent in their decision making. Unclear mixed messages in their communications. They don’t listen to the people actually doing the work and constantly give excuses as opposed to solutions. This has been a worrying trend since the change of CEO. Huge amounts of layoffs in the last year, but the workload hasn’t scaled accordingly. Some teams have been cut to breaking point.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. Glad to hear that you enjoy the people you work with, our flexible time off, and the work you do. Colleagues, culture, and the daily tasks in your job are the most important things in job satisfaction. Transparency and communication is something that we are working really hard to fix in 2023. You are right, trust is earned and we are acutely aware that 2022 was rough and that some employees are still struggling with all the changes. Please reach out to your local HR Director if you have any other feedback or concerns to share. We want to make sure 2023 is a positive year.

Thanks for sharing your experience at Pexip! We are so excited to hear that you love working with your teammates and enjoy the inclusive work environment that we offer. We strive to hire great people who are passionate about the company, technology and are fun to work with. Yes, Pexip allows employees to work in a hybrid environment that best suits their working needs which has created less traffic in the office. We are working on a plan to encourage employees to come back in more often in the new year. If you have any suggestions or ideas to better integrate our back to office efforts please reach out to your local HR Director.

Pros

I had some really amazing people who took time to help me be successful in my role. The benefits are amazing and the ability to work remote is nice as well. Also, they take you on some nice trips!

Cons

Their can be a very clique vibe when you do attend something onsite and it can feel like there is some sort of favoritism for employees who go to the office. There are people who quietly do that job well and aren’t really noticed and others who make sure to rub elbows with the right people as much as possible to advance their careers and it appears to work quite well at Pexip. The company also hired a lot of people in 2021 and in 2022 let a lot of employees go. They did one set of lay offs and assured the rest of us their were not going to be anymore lay offs. Shortly after that they were laying off people here and there and then in November did another massive layoff.

We appreciate you taking the time to share feedback. Glad to hear that you enjoyed Pexip's benefits package and the work life balance that is offered. We strive to make sure that our benefit offerings are competitive and valuable to our employees. You are right, we did grow our teams in 2021 and 2022 and during that growth period, followed growing pains that Pexip had to navigate and manage. We hear the feedback and communication is one of our strategic goals for 2023. Appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.
