The people are one of the biggest reasons why I joined this firm. Everyone I work with genuinely seeks to develop my knowledge and is fun to work with. The other reason is that we are working on projects that are meaningful to cities and institutions. It feels good to be a part of that even as I start out my career. They also open up opportunities to contribute to design in many ways that are meaningful. Working here is also wonderful because you are not micro-managed.

Design is structured around principles so being able to contribute to large scale aspects of a project are not open to designers with less architectural experience. This is common in most firms working with budgets like ours. They do offer immediate design opportunities on smaller aspects of the design which is very rewarding if you take initiative.
