Pros

Incredible patient population, the staff that this organization attracts are people who really are invested and want to be there/do the work so your colleagues are incredible.

Cons

As objectively as possible as someone who left the organization, if you are a clinician (MD,DO, NP, PA, RN, LSW, PsyD) beware! This place has changed so much and not for the better: A place that use to attract talented clinicians now attract clinicians who are RUNNING from one bad situation to another because the org can no longer get who they want so instead they throw high salaries around to attract staff, but its not worth it. The executive director who is the founder should have retired years ago. Instead she grips the reins in detriment. She allows for people to be on staff with titles like "staff enrichment specialist" who don't actually ever come on site, let alone enrich anything. It's nice that she helps folks out who couldn't get a job 20 years ago, but when the clinic can't hire enough staff or give appropriate pay to others because of people on payroll who literally do nothing, it hurts the org. The HR Department is and has always been a joke, They are only there to do the bidding of the executive director and cover up major blunders which have resulted in payoffs and lawsuits. The current medical leadership, who took the place of a fired physician who was a true leader and visionary, is now run by a dentist who has no medical experience but is in chart of the whole health center. She took the position without actually knowing what the REAL CMO did, and has since run the clinics into turmoil. The saddest part are the patients who had long standing relationships with their clinicians who have been feeling LOST after multiple longstanding staple clinicians resigned in 2023. Patients are leaving in droves and fortunately many are finding their former clinician at other local organizations, only to cry on their first visit about their experiences in the total disfunction of the clinic after the fallout of a mass exodus.

Pros

Company takes care of it's employees: the benefits are good, paid holidays and PTO generous, culture is liberal and snowflake-y. They take care of the little guy and there is a lot of diversity (everywhere but the top).

Cons

C-suite and upper level management is not diverse enough, especially for the type of organization that it is. Very toxic, narcissistic, disorganized upper level management.
