Experience if you are planning on staying in law enforcement. See the process from bottom to top. There are some really good people work here and try to be helpful. Can lead into other careers within the Sheriff’s / Pima County division if you work hard and look for the opportunities.
Cons
Hire management was unapproachable. You felt inferior a lot of the time. Some people had training jobs that never worked “the job” and trained in a way that you felt unprepared for the actual job. Some of these people received the job due to knowing people in the right places to get “the job.” Morale could be low because sometimes you were told you would be going into a shift and have it switched because someone more likable got the shift instead.
