Pros

There are some lovely people at this agency, where you can learn and improve your skills really quickly. Working was initially very flexible (although this changed in September), and I personally had a wonderful line manager and team. It's a young workforce with lots of energy and pretty frequent socials. There were some big client names to work on, too – so a good opportunity to develop a portfolio.

Cons

The people at the top are ridiculously incompetent. During the hiring process, I was told that the company was expanding. After I joined, at least five other employees were taken on. The office was expanding in size too, to account for the increase in head count. HOWEVER, after just FIVE MONTHS (and entirely out of the blue) the directors made 10% of the workforce redundant, including myself. I hadn't finished my probationary period yet, and was dismissed without any severance pay or notice. There was absolutely ZERO warning, as we were all under the impression that the company was doing well enough to expand so rapidly. I was not the only person to be made redundant while under probation. This is SHOCKING business management, and is a diabolical way to treat people. Clearly, the decision-makers are clueless - DON'T RISK WORKING HERE. In regards to these redundancies, the directors didn't involve any senior leaders in their decisions – they chose employees without consulting those who had actually worked closely with them. My own line manager had no idea I was going to be made redundant. Honestly, I never would've expected this from a company that's 60 people in size.

Excellent place to grow. Company culture is a 10/10.

Cons

It's only my third week so I don't have much feedback yet. However, I am excited to see where it takes me.

Pros

Having worked here for over six months, I’ve found the opportunities for growth outstanding. I’ve learned more in this time than many roles offer in years. It’s a great fit if you enjoy a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged and allows you to use a broad skillset. The team is friendly, social, and supportive, with a positive and constructive approach to feedback. There’s also flexibility with hybrid working. I’ve been encouraged to explore my interests and shape my role in a way that works for me. While workload was previously seen as challenging, it’s clear the business has taken steps to address this by hiring more people and putting better processes in place. As a young mum, I’ve been really impressed by the level of understanding and flexibility, while still being supported to stay ambitious and continue growing.

Cons

I’d add that this isn’t the place if you’re looking to coast or do the bare minimum. It’s fast-paced and can be high pressure at times, but in return you get the chance to work on some really exciting projects and with really great people. The pay also isn’t the most competitive.
