My experience aligns with the other reviews below. While my immediate team was made up of fantastic people but we were not set up for success by company management. Squad goals seemed to change on a whim, and if a feature didn’t achieve immediate success, it was abandoned entirely.
The recent redundancy process—despite the company’s profitability—saw over 20 employees from product and engineering let go, leaving a sour taste among those remaining, many of whom are now looking to leave. The consultation period, which supposedly gave employees a chance to compete for their roles, appears to have been a sham. A clear pattern has since emerged: those let go had shorter notice periods than colleagues who remained in the same role, suggesting the company prioritised cost-cutting over fairness.
For those who remain, previously advertised benefits such as unlimited holiday and Flexi-Friday have been removed and all pay reviews have been cancelled. Processes are being put in place which mean that those working in product will now be held responsible for the -continued- failures of the sales team.
The company’s “values” are of no concern to senior leadership and are only used as a stick to beat the rank-and-file with. There is never any accountability for failures in direction or mismanagement and those responsible are simply shuffled around, inevitably leading to further failures down the line.
For those considering applying all future roles will be advertised as hybrid, meaning new hires may be required to attend the office even if their entire team is fully remote. Good luck!
