Pros
You get to work with Farmers! And earlier for farmers (but not true anymore)
Cons
I genuinely wish I had a better experience, but my time at this company was deeply disappointing. There was a constant gap between what was promised and what the reality felt like. The culture is often described as “family-like,” yet the day-to-day environment felt anything but supportive. Instead, it frequently came across as stressful and, at times, quite toxic. It was particularly disheartening to see how leadership and culture played out in practice. The founders often came across as distant and somewhat rigid, with an apparent belief that occasional parties or team trips could compensate for deeper cultural and structural issues. While such gestures are appreciated, they do not replace genuine support, transparency, and respect for employees. Decision-making was another major source of frustration. Several higher-level or management roles appeared to be filled through personal connections rather than capability, which was reflected in the quality and consistency of decisions. The company frequently emphasized the absence of hierarchy, and while there was indeed autonomy in day-to-day work, employee input rarely seemed to influence meaningful decisions. Over time, this created a strong sense that effort, ideas, and initiative were not truly valued. I had hoped for a place where I could learn, contribute meaningfully, and grow, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. The overall environment ultimately felt frustrating and demotivating.
