Pros
Interesting if you like bikes and/or video.
Cons
Video teams are really squeezed by the management. Under resourced, high pressure. Management very cliquey means that ideas from only a select number of people are considered, sometimes these are great, and exciting, but too often these are recycled old ideas or there simply isn't the time or resource to innovate so out come the old ideas again. If questioned people are so convinced that there is only one way to do anything that it is no wonder the result is insipid, bland and samey content. Salaries are at the lowest side of acceptable, and pay reviews rare even with high performance. The biggest downside however is that a company with this audience, and this level of visibility could be doing positive things for cycling. It could engage with the governing body, it could engage with politics, and really push cycling up the agenda. But it chooses instead to fly countless people all over the world without a second thought to create content purely with the objective to sell products. A missed opportunity to be great.
