Pros

I've met some nice colleagues. Other than that, nothing stood out.

Cons

I knew it was a red flag from the start—no design assets provided during the exam. After the offer, they lowered the salary far from what was initially discussed. I still accepted just to see if it was really just me, thinking it wouldn’t hurt to try. Spoiler: it wasn’t just me. On my first day, everything moved so fast—I had to juggle onboarding and the transition from their previous designer, all while barely understanding the workflow. I was just sitting there, but already drowning. Then came the real nightmare: they handed me a laggy 15GB laptop to work on. To make it worse, they asked me to render videos so heavy that I could literally go home, sleep, and come back the next day just for it to finish. I resigned after 3 days. That was more than enough to realize this company drains people and calls it “hustle.” They offered me a WFH arrangement after I resigned, thinking I might stay, but then said they’d cut my salary even lower, which made no sense. I had better equipment at home (64GB RAM, 2TB storage), but they still expected me to suffer on-site with that setup. Even after office hours, I had to keep working just to meet impossible deadlines. The team expected me to know everything immediately, with no proper handover. They had no paid accounts, and I have to use my own premium Canva and ChatGPT accounts just to get things done. I’m resourceful—but I can’t pull magic out of thin air. The final straw? My manager messaged me at 11:45 PM on a Sunday, during a public holiday (Labor Day), asking me to work without pay.
