Pros

PTO Parental Leave Recharge weeks

Cons

Quota is unattainable and you will likely get moved from one area to the next with no regard for how this will impact your quota attainment. Training and enablement are truly garbage and the BD enablement guy at the time I left didn't understand how to effectively create training nor did he seem to care how his lack of knowledge on how people learn impacted BDR's livelihoods. After a hellish transition in the CRM we were using early in the year we were forced to transition from the outreach tool we were using with no notice and no solid transition plan. This transition was sprung on us and occurred within a matter of a few weeks. The trainers on the new tool told us our managers should give us some kind of grace period for learning the tool because it was going to impact our numbers, but of course that never happened. Why should the director and VP care about roadblocks to our success when they only care about the bottom line? A combination of all these tool transitions resulted in me to having poor performance, but when I asked for help at several levels (my manager, the VP, other managers, and HR for disability accomodations) the only solution they came up with was pushing me out of the company with severance. I'm not the only BDR they did this to, but I was the only one they pushed out while being pretty far into my pregnancy leaving me in a difficult position to find a new job. The company has gone through 3 rounds of layoffs in less than a year... Probably find another company to work for if you hope to have a job or any kind of career progression in the near future.

Pluralsight Response

Thank you for the review. I’m sorry that your experience working at Pluralsight was negative. We recognize the importance of setting attainable quotas and providing the necessary resources and training to help our team members meet those goals. I hear your feedback and will take this to BD leadership as an area of opportunity. As far as your mention of pregnancy and lay-offs, we remain committed to offering strong parental leave benefits and to honoring those commitments. We’ve worked hard to implement our restructures and staff reductions with care and concern in line with our values, and we do not make employment decisions based on pregnancy status. I invite you to reach out to me to discuss your concerns further. -Will
