Pros
I have held 3 different roles across Pluralsight, from being a Corporate Recruiter for 2 years, to being an SMB Account Executive for about 6 mo, to now being a Solutions Consultant. The fact that I was able to tailor my career journey to exactly what I want for myself says it all - Pluralsight is a place where you can build YOUR future the way YOU want. I was able to have multiple mentors aid me through the journey at each step, was given opportunities to work on really cool, interesting projects to build my skills, and encouraged to create new projects that I was interested in doing, even if they were outside of my standard activities. I even took about a year of time where I left Pluralsight to be a SAHM after having my second kiddo, and was CELEBRATED by my leader for my choice to step away for a season, then welcomed back with praise and support from my old team as well as my new ones. I have felt so valuable and encouraged at every step of my career journey here, and I know I'm not alone in that. Since joining Pluralsight, I've convinced my sister, brother in law, and one of my husband's best friends to join as well because I love it so much.
Cons
Pluralsight has had multiple "tricky" stages where people felt nervous about change, but every single time I've been incredibly impressed at the transparency and honestly leadership has. The choices leadership makes always drive us forward, and our goals as an organization have always made sense to me and have genuinely made us better.
