      There’s no upside to working for these people.

      Cons

      The CMO is a tyrant and the CEO and COO allow him to get away with treating people like dirt under his feet. If you aren’t a yes man, you’re out. The COO also openly stated that she was okay with a high turnover rate because it meant they were pushing people. They are an absolute joke and everyone who has worked for them has the same opinions, to the extent that several of us are still friends years later after trauma bonding together.

      Some really great people, a few questionable leaders

      Cons

      Prepare to be sacrificed. Young founders that are driven to grow the company at your expense. Annoying Slack messages everyday from leaders “motivating” the team with “more, more, more” referring to sales. Focused on growth but haven’t address some critical service issues which have retailers and brands questioning partnership. The founders use “startup” as an excuse for why employee retention is around 1 year or less. “1 year at a startup is like 3 years anywhere else.” Churn and 🔥. Sorry but at some point you’re no longer a startup.
