Pros

They hire some of the best people, overall great product and usually really great customer base to interact with. The office is clean and modern with a nice cafe downstairs. There are defined options for promotions. They are also great about doing holiday parties or catering a company lunch every two weeks.

Cons

Executive leadership is super toxic. They openly boast about not caring about employee satisfaction. They a fine to squeeze every last bit of effort out of their employees. They don’t allow you to use an out-of-office email reply during holiday closures. They have said on multiple occasions, “if you don’t like the pace of Podium then leave”. They equate work-life balance with laziness. They say they have unlimited PTO, but then will ban managers from approving any PTO during certain months. The quotas and metrics constantly change and when people quit, they say they just weren’t a good fit. Plan on skipping lunch and working late for average pay, if you want to make it at Podium. Above all else, zero transparency works best. They don’t appreciate employees giving honest feedback.
