Pros
Met some fab people at tutor level who work way too hard for the pay and treatment they receive by management and HR staff.
Cons
Where to begin... Unachievable goals set my management All they care about is getting as many students in as possible to make as much money as possible without any regards to health and safety. Do not care about learners, just about the numbers on a piece of paper. The more that achieve, the more money they get. That was their sole reason to get students to pass exams, management don't care if the learners actually learn something. Tutors are worked way too hard and try hard to help learners as much as possible but find their jobs so difficult with all the admin work they must do. Management will not hire admin staff so it always falls on tutors. No job security. Punish staff for having a life outside of work. Can't tell you the amount of women they have made redundant whilst on maternity. Have far too many students in a classroom. Up to 50 at a time. Facilities are an absolute joke. Dirty and although I've already mentioned it, I'll do so again, health and safety is none existent. Absolutely no support from management, I can give countless examples here but I don't have all year.
