Pros

Health plan was decent, job function is OK. CEO and founder was dumped as well as 3 board members which seems to indicate there is some effort to fix the culture.

Cons

Boys club atmosphere. One particular guy had a long history of bullying\harassment but has calmed down a bit recently after repeated offenses, but somehow avoided getting fired. 12% pay cut in February 2016, including new hires! Quite a few firings after the pay cut as well as layoffs. I guess the previous CEO needed to pay the city to widen the street to his house. (google it) Previous COO was fired then the CFO who assumed duties and auditing firm resigned about a year afterward, probably after they uncovered the truth. Managers from multiple departments met with employees to describe the public lawsuits and referred to the lawyers as “ambulance chaser lawyers” and to not worry about the company business. Oddly enough, SOX compliance emails were sent out the same week as a knee jerk reaction. Obviously, the communication came from the top because everyone heard the same term “ambulance chaser lawyers”. Now we all know the truth know they were lying directly to employees. Very questionable lab practices involving LPG. The message seemed to be get results no matter what the safety risk, not get results the right way. Original Wood Dale location consisted of engines running haphazardly in a loading dock or reefer trailers. Don't just take my word for it, read the PSI website under SEC filings dated April 7th. which reads there "was not an appropriate tone at the top" That phrase was similarly used by Enron in there financial statements.

Pros

Sometimes you get a TON of overtime. I was working 13 10 hour shifts straight with 2 days off at one point

Cons

I had to train both my managers 1 month into my job. The one was particularly dangerously dumb and had a temper.
