Pros

They are doing great things for the neighborhood.

Cons

If you are looking to work at Power & Tel take the reviews with a grain of salt. CHECK THE DATES. My guess is after a few years of people telling the truth about the work enviornment someone in HR or somewhere else in the company took note and sent out a request to their long time employees who have drank the Kool Aid to please go make the reviews better. Look at the dates of the last 20-25 reviews, they all come in waves almost as if someone has it in their outlook calandar to send this alert out every 6 months.

Pros

Everyone is willing to help one another. If you need advice on pricing or differences in product or need to find the best vendor contacts, there are colleagues willing and eager to help you learn. That seems like a very average thing to say about a company, but it is staggering just how many companies (no matter the size) instill an "f-u, figure it out" mentality after and sometimes during initial training. P&T, thankfully, does not take this approach. They have instead decided that we're all on the same team here, and we need to help one another to be on the same page for our vendors and clients.

Cons

I would like to see more training on how to handle and process large scale opportunities. So many persons are @'ed regarding that it creates a corporate bystander effect, i.e. "okay, am I supposed to do something at this stage or is he/she supposed to do something at this stage?"

Pros

Can’t remember many pros from working here.

Cons

The managers are creeps. One of them sleeps with girls that are below him. The other ones make more money than the account managers they lead but don’t even know how to input an order into the system. Weird right? The CEO will never know your name but will come around the desks talking to employees like they are kindergarteners. Also, HR doesn’t care about you I promise! Before I put in my two weeks, I told multiple people and found out they were also looking for other jobs.
