The bullying management style of company executives and upper management results in lack of trust, low worker output, and high employee turnover. Employees over 40, and in particular those with any type of “benefits” claims, are fired or forced out. A double standard exists. Company policies do not apply to executives and those who genuflect in their presence. A typical day for the favored is spent chatting in offices, attending “business” meetings and lunches, making numerous trips to the breakroom to replenish snacks, and pretending to work on their PC’s when in fact they are chatting online or surfing the web.
