Pros
I enjoyed my coworkers, and residents that I still keep in touch with.
Cons
Not a professionally ran company. They hire individuals who are undocumented to work in the US. They pay under minimum wage. The is no true management, and the owner and his son try to manage all properties instead of allowing the property manager to do their job. The owners try to micromanage, but only make the job very unpleasant and unorganized. They refuse to properly run any of their properties correctly, or put in proper funds to accurately maintain property functionality. Owners expect maintenance to fix everything, when they should be contracting outside professionals (ei. Plumbers, Rooofers, and Electricians). They fail to follow many city codes, and have been citied by the city of Phoenix for countless violations. Examples of that would be health and safety violations in regards to sewage, structure, and fire systems. One property in particular has many residents going without hot water for over a year now. The turn over rate is extremely high due to page wage, unrealistic work expectations, and lack of work materials. Over time is not paid, but you can count on still working it. They state you get bonuses but it's really just untaxed commission they apply to your gross pay to make up for being paid under minimum wage. They don't take out federal taxes regardless of the tax forms you submit upon being hired. Overall this is a very scheming company ran by slumlords.
