Pros
great coworkers, fun environment, autonomy to perform job
Cons
ever since being bought out by VRC, the company has taken a giant dump in quality. nearly 3/4 of the staff working when i started was either fired or quit before the start of 2020, the managers in Texas were the complete opposite of transparent when it came to expectations and the transition to their way of working. senior employees prior to the buy-out were essentially demoted to entry level grunts with nothing to do. what was once a very generous benefits package suddenly became paying twice what i once was for insurance that was actually significantly worse in every aspect. new management often outright lied about things to their new employess, such the president and ceo himself promising 100% that no layoffs would be forthcoming due to covid-19, but along with myself, another solid half of my former coworkers are out of work with not even a single day notice less than a week later. unless probe finds itself once again free of this disgusting new parent company, i would never recommend working for VRC ever again.
