Pros
They are one of the few places that hire more junior developers. You can build your career up here.
Cons
They happily keep employees that make sexist jokes directly at other coworkers, yell people down in meetings, and make racist jokes. They will even defend those employees and do not force them to apologize or provide any repercussions for it. Management asked inappropriate questions about pregnancy plans to employees, too. Additionally, they pay below market, and they will play favourites. You should not expect any promotion, any advancement, and any real substantial pay raises from what you initially negotiate. Their management is utterly out of touch with reality when it comes to industry best practices, actual soft skills needed in management, and the needs of their staff. The owners hire their friends and step on staff who speak up in the face of bad ideas. Their code is still mostly in VB6, and they're bleeding talent left and right. The technical debt there is staggering to fathom. Supposedly this used to be a really great place to work, but it declined a lot from when I started until when I quit.
